Salinas ›Flor de Sal‹

Between sparkling salt pools, warm light and the vastness of the Algarve, we created an image and film production for Salinas d'Algarve together with our photographer Klaus Einwanger.

The result is a visual series between reportage and staging, which captures the path of the Flor de Sal: the harvest, the movements in the pools, the silent processes of a place where wind, sun and time set the rhythm.

The pictures stay very close to the action and tell of the calmness, precision and originality of this special product. The work is complemented by motifs in which light, surface and material develop almost their own language. These are quiet moments in which the fine structures, the shimmering salt and the atmosphere of the place can be felt.

The result is a poetic look at a product whose quality lies precisely in its simplicity, purity and untouched nature. And yes: It was produced in Portugal in the best weather, which also gave this project an extra dose of magic ☀️
